Pauline Kraneis uses drawing to address definitions of space – both mental and real. Up to now, her work has largely consisted of drawings of urban spaces and ornamental patterns that are presented to the viewer as imaginary city maps or landscapes.

Pauline Kraneis is a professor at the Art Acedemy Berlin. Borsigstraße is located in Berlin Mitte, where the artist lives and works.
