Stefan Klampfer (b. 1979, Kitzbühel) works with sculpture, photography, drawing and art in public space. He holds an MFA in sculpture from Academy of fine arts in Vienna, Austria (2013), where he also lives and works.

Eine Gruppenausstellung ist immer der Versuch verschiedene künstlerische Positionen miteinander zu kombinieren – das heißt, ergänzende bzw. gegenläufige Aspekte herauszuarbeiten. Insofern entspricht der Ausstellungsraum während einer Gruppenausstellung einem Verdichtungskörper für verschiedene künstlerische Sichtweisen.

Sonja Kälberer studierte von 2003 bis 2009 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig bei ingo Meller und Peter Piller. In ihren Arbeiten bewegt sie sich zwischen Skulptur (sie baut aus rohen Materialien Räume), Fotografie (die Räume werden für das Bild gebaut) und Malerei (die Fotografien werden in der Dunkelkammer maßgeblich nachbearbeitet).

Neben der Auseinandersetzung mit Animationen verarbeitet Imitation of Life auch andere Elemente aus der frühen Unterhaltungsgeschichte, von Varieté, Stummfilmkomödien bis hin zu Filmmusicals in seiner flüchtigen Szenenfolge und bedient sich zugleich verschiedener künstlerischen Formen zwischen Film, Musik, Malerei und Literatur.
