Was tun, wenn einem die Kunst plötzlich abhanden kommt? Wenn sie entschwindet, unauffindbar versickert zwischen dem Leben und den Lebensumständen? Tiziana Pagano (geb. 1984 in Basel) begibt sich mit ihrem irrlichternden Text "5% menschlich, der Rest ist Kunst" in ein geheimnisvolles Labyrinth zwischen dem Ich und dem, was Kunst sein könnte, aber nicht länger als Kunst betrachtet werden kann. Ausgangsmaterial meiner künstlerischen Arbeit ist ein etwa 7.000 Dias umfassender Nachlass eines zwischen 1928 und 1990 aktiven Amateurfotografen aus Kärnten.

The artist's book is based on four recent bodies of sculptures by Federico Pepe.

This book is a visual and textual approach to the city of istanbul. The visual approach happens through photographic collages.

"Fucking kills", it says on one of the cards, printed over the nowadays wellknown message "Smoking kills". Followed by a card showing a naked baby with a Ken-figure head and another card with a dead animal on the road side.
"Do it yourself!" contains six postcards. Thematically the three-cloured prints circle around sex and procreation, but also death.
