Live from the Commodore Ballroom captures a legendary performance by UJ3RK5 in Vancouver in 1980. Sharing an affinity with bands such as Devo and Talking Heads, UJ3RK5 emerged out of punk, new wave, and post-punk music, as well as the Vancouver School of photo conceptualism that some of the members were associated with.

In einem virtuosen Essay lotet Jean-Luc Nancy das Verhältnis zwischen Klang, menschlichem Körper und dessen Gespanntheit auf diesen Sinn und den Sinn überhaupt aus, ist der Körper – so Nancy – doch selbst eine Echo-Kammer, deren innere Schwingungen und äußere Gespanntheit sich einander verschränken.

Sich mit Mozart, seiner Zeit, seinem Werk und seiner Rezeption zu konfrontieren bedeutet, sich auf eine Auseinandersetzung mit Geschichte einzulassen, die zumeist aus der Perspektive der Mächtigen und der Mehrheit geschrieben wird.

1982 schickte das Künstlerkollektiv Minus Delta t einen 5,5 Tonnen schweren graublauen Granitblock auf dem Landweg von Europa nach Indien. Was als „Bangkok-Projekt“ begann, wird nun als „Das Projekt“ weitergeführt. Der Stein soll seine temporäre Heimat, Neu Delhi (seit 1983), verlassen und weiter nach China reisen.

Co-organized by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Philippe Parreno as a group exhibition that would occupy time rather than space, “Il Tempo del Postino” usurped the durational dimension of theater by presenting time-based art on the stage of the Manchester Opera House (July 12–14, 2007).

BREAKING THE BAR was commissioned by the Bludenzer Tage Zeitgemäßer Kunst and performed there on November 29, 2008. Following the instructions in the score, the musicians broke bars of chocolate on their chairs, and the audience was offered to eat the bits and pieces. Subsequently, the chairs were taken off the stage and placed in the entrance hall where the audience could read the score on the glass facade. The drawing measures 27 x 2 m.
