Jeroen de Rijke and Willem de Rooij are now next in line as the artists chosen torepresent the Dutch visual arts.

The artists are creating a new film installation especially for the occasion. Since their work often takes a long time to prepare and their output is relatively small, many await it in eager anticipation. The new project is bound to attract the attention of the Biennale visitors - and it is no simple matter to make a presentation that stands out amid the overwhelming quantity of contemporary art that the Biennale attracts.
