Diagrammatic Writing
Johanna Drucker’s Diagrammatic Writing is a poetic demonstration of the capacity of format to produce meaning. The articulation of the codex as a site for meaning-makinghas rarely (if ever) been subject to such highly focused and detailed study as in this volume,
in which Drucker shows how format and content can become fully integrated, co-dependent and mutually self-reflexive. Fun and educational, this small book will be of interest to bookmakers, writers, bibliographers, designers, artists and anyone interested in the meta-language of diagrammatic thought in graphic form.
