Duchamp's Suitcase features five mini-exhibitions by curators from different points on the international contemporary art map. The form of the exhibition is intended to raise some questions about the way art and ideas travel.

At a time when many independent and institutional curators are compulsively travelling abroad in order to return with souvenir lists of international artists, Arnolfini is proposing an alternative to such strategies, inviting curators to install their own mini-exhibitions in the galleries and present snapshots of various international art scenes.
