Excitement and Adventure is an interactive artist book about Depression-era gangsters. Culled from the archives of the Minnesota Historical Society, this book contains 11 envelopes stuffed with primary sources like gangster fingerprints, wanted posters and hilarious ransom notes. Each book comes with two different gangster trading cards. It also includes extensive timelines and bibliographies, a gangster-speak lexicon, and an awards ceremony. Each envelope is lovingly glued down, and the books are photocopied and handbound.
