This journal focuses on writing as the core material of a number of visual artists but equally as a mode that exists parallel to or in service of the visual. F.R. David appears twice a year.

The fourth issue of F.R. DAVID, "The Book of Intentions" is published on the occasion of the final project of de Appel Curatorial Programme 07/08, "Master Humphrey's Clock": a project that explores intersections between storytelling and circulation through a series of art exhibitions, publications and events. The second publication of this project, "Index", will be published in summer 2008 as a register of all artworks exhibited in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht (May 12-June 8, 2008) and other venues of "Master Humphrey's Clock"
