Lorem Ipsum (Lat. “pain itself”) is an artists’ book by Tobias Donat.

The book is part of an ongoing series, in which lorem ipsum, a filler text commonly used in publishing and graphic design to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation, is edited as short stories. For lorem ipsum a scrambled section of De finibus bonorum et malorum, a 1st century BC Latin text by Cicero, with words altered, added, and removed to turn it into nonsensical, improper Latin, is used as a template. In this book, the filler text becomes the content of the story itself.
