LORIMER ST. BLUES

LORIMER ST. BLUES was published by Jason Duval for edition tm in 2009. The unnumbered edition is printed on newsprint and packaged in a plain newsstore envelope, making it a specifically tactile object. (Engl.)

Each envelope is unique, and many of the books have slight hand additions as well, so each copy is different. LORIMER ST. BLUES takes its name from a Brooklyn subway station. The images are drawn from the architecture of the surrounding neighborhhod and elsewhere. The book is partly a visual diary and in general a meditation on cities, change and nostalgia.
