Failure might be the most beautiful thing in the world and this makes life so complicated. "Nothing Special" is French artist Julien Berthier's second drawing book reflecting on his own work and the beauty of failure. A manual on how to make things even more complicated.

Julien Berthier (*1975) is working with sculpture, video, photography, and drawings. His sharp, humorous works on paper are often diagrams of unrealized inventions or scenarios. Ranging from the political to the poetic they reveal the full breadth of the artist's concerns and motivations.

The publication is part of the series of artists' projects edited by Christoph Keller.
