A blueprint is an imaginary structure that gestures towards the future. It is a template, plan, draft or model. The issue invites you to explore the relation between promise and reality, between model and outcome, the fictional and the tangible, potentiality, mapping what lies beneath, what is to come.

"Plateau" is a student-run international creative journal supported by the New School in New York and the American University of Paris. It is a collaboration between young writers and emerging artists intending to create dialogue between cultures and disciplines. "Plateau" is a printed space raised above frontiers to adjoin creative minds in the meanders of a chosen theme. Word, image and acoustics blend to create a horizontal landscape. Language: English
